Glacier National Park

Going to the Sun Road is typically fully open from early July to mid-October. Timed-entry vehicle reservations are often required during peak summer months. Always verify current conditions, reservation requirements, and road status at nps.gov/glac before you go.
Drive times are approximate and vary by season and traffic. Verify at nps.gov/glac.
Beyond the park
Whitefish & the Flathead Valley
About 20 minutes away, Whitefish brings lake days, a walkable downtown, and Whitefish Mountain Resort for summer hikes and winter skiing. Flathead Lake, local farmers' markets, and huckleberry everything round out a valley worth exploring on the days you're not in the park.
